Fabulous Chinoiserie hand carved Rosewood rolling desk chair from Bangkok, Thailand. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. We have found no outstanding flaws. The wood has been restored with Danish oil and the aluminum base has been polished. Please see photos and zoom in for details. We attempt to portray any imperfections. Circa, Mid-20th Century.

What an INCREDIBLE desk chair!! This is a GORGEOUS hand carved rolling desk chair from Bangkok, Thailand comprised of stunning Rosewood and intricately hand carved, curved sides and chair back embellished with birds, flowers, and little squirrels among the vines. It. Is… BREATHTAKING!!! It has a 4 prong aluminum base with unique, almost ½ ball casters, a steel shaft, and we have added two lovely silk down filled throw pillows with black embroidered designs and corner tassels which we will include upon purchase unless otherwise specified. We call it a desk chair, but it would honestly be beautiful extra seating in many spaces... just roll it into any room you choose. (pssssst the previous owner told us this was custom made for his parents while living in Bangkok!) Its quintessential Chinoiserie style is going to make a BOLD statement at the desk in your home office, study, den, in the corner of your bedroom, or at your makeup vanity! This is truly spectacular seating, and its magnificent details are undeniably incredible. You simply MUST have it! Make it YOURS!!!
