About the Item
Our artisanmade Alden Ottoman is the newest addition to our line. A textural mix of ivory bouclé and white oak combine with leather piping in this unique piece. The hand-carved legs are made by local artisans.
Equally, at home in a Lake Tahoe chalet, Sea Ranch beachfront dwelling or Laurel Canyon abode, we designed this piece with California’s majestic views in mind. Bench made, in Los Angeles, this piece celebrates the natural beauty of the materials.
Shown here in our Summer Aged Oak finish, legs are also available in Natural White Oak, Sunkissed Oak, Canyon Oak, Riviera Oak, Dark Walnut and Heirloom Walnut.

Founded in Los Angeles in 2019 by designer Stefani Stein, August Abode is an artisanmade home collection capturing the West Coast spirit of endless summer. Discouraged by the impact of Los Angeles landfills being the largest in the county, we aim to reduce our participation in the epidemic of thoughtless production. Our made-to-order pieces encourage a steady flow of business to LA’s rich artisan trade community, while keeping our production process local and environmentally ethical. We are investing in the next generation of skilled makers, to encourage a sustainable and vertical model that reduces wasteful production.

Say hello to the Hayworth Ottoman. Designed to coordinate with other pieces from our Hayworth Outdoor Collection, this petite indoor-outdoor ottoman doubles as a footrest or extra seating. Created to embrace the spirit of endless summer, it is shown here in our Rincon Finish
The Hayworth Ottoman has a removable cushion that rests upon on a sturdy Iroko foundation with slats for drainage. The cushion is made from outdoor dry-fast foam. All of our outdoor upholstered pieces come standard with an ivory outdoor woven textile (not pictured here). They are also available as COM (customer’s own materials). Please specify your preference upon ordering.

+ Fade & mildew resistant fabric is recommended for outdoor usage or in high humidity environments.

+ COM: LEAD TIME BEGINS WHEN FABRIC ARRIVES.
+ Covered or protected storage is advised. Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures which may damage frame.
