Vintage Karl Springer Large Stainless Steel and Upholstered Souffle Pouf Ottoman

About the Item

This ultra-chic and large Karl Springer style soufflé pouf or ottoman has been newly fully restored and re-upholstered and the brass-plated aluminum original base has been changed to custom stainless steel banding. It is from the 1980s. All new insides have been put in when the upholstery was redone. All the sides are pleated in the upholstery. This is a fabulous floating ottoman in a room setting. The new upholstery fabric is textural with a slight gray off-white hue. Tres chic! This has now been brought to being modern and fabulous. Please understand we now have many restoration expenses involved inclusive of the large stainless steel banding on the bottom that now looks fabulous. This is the largest version of his ottoman and the most au courant one on the market. It is fabulous! PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A SPECIAL TIME THAT WE HAVE PUT THIS ON END OF YEAR SALE 2024 FOR A VERY LIMITED TIME.

Additions or alterations made to the original: This was reupholstered with a new fabric and all new insides of the foam and dacron were replaced and the brass aluminum banding was replaced with a thick band of stainless steel on the bottom. Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use. Very great condition. It has been restored.
