1990s Ottomans and Poufs

This incredible limited edition copper tone 'Togo' fireside lounge chair and ottoman in luminous copper fabric which has a patent hand-feel similar to silk and rayon was designed by Michel Ducaroy in 1973 for Ligne Roset, France. Signed with Ligne Roset underside decking fabric and labels on each piece. This rare limited edition set was produced in late 1990s to early 2000's on custom orders for a very short time in limited quantities and is in excellent condition with only a couple small blemishes which can be seen in the photos. The copper colored fabric is quite reflective of light and similar to copper alloy, reflects the lights in a manner where it can look darker or brighter depending on how the light shines on it. And there is no design more perfect for that luminosity than the Togo. If you look at all the pics in the photo gallery of this listing you can see how dynamic and striking the Togo looks with all of its ripples and folds and tufting... each and every line reflects the shimmer of the light in a way that exemplifies and completely captivates this classic and collected design.
