About the Item
Rocking chair designed by California designer Gerald McCabe for Brown Saltman, circa 1960. The sling seat is upholstered in the original channel backed black vinyl, which slips onto a round bar steel frame with walnut arms. Flat-bar steel frame connects to walnut rockers. The frame has been polished and wood restored. The upholstery in remarkably good original condition with very minor wear consistent with age.
