This Chromatic sofa was designed by Kwok Hoi Chan in 1970 for Steiner.
This seamless seating system consists of five elements, which allow the creation of different configurations. The new warm colored red, orange, pink, and purple fabric gives it a warm appearance. Each section has a different colortone.
The curvaceous construction of the element, accentuated by the vertical lining in the upholstery, evokes the image of a cascade. Maximum comfort is guaranteed.
Similar too the designs of Pierre Paulin and Olivier Morgue.

Kwok Hoi Chan
Kwok Hoi Chan was an emblematic figure of international design who emigrated from Hong Kong to England and France. In France, he paired up with the Parisian manufacturer Steiner. Even though Chan was deeply invested in European and international design, he has always stayed loyal to his Chinese origins. His furniture resembles an imaginary alphabet borrowed from Chinese calligraphy. His trademark is a suspended tubular frame which is combined with an organic shaped seating.
