Wonderful Late 20th Century Modern modular sectional sofa 5 pieces with chaise and gray tweed like fabric. Comprised of 3 armless sections, a corner piece, and a chaise lounge with tight seat & back foam cushions and cylindrical wood legs with a walnut-toned finish. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. The sofa was professionally cleaned but does still have some stubborn yellowing around the lower edges and more pronounced on the chaise section. There is a small tear/hole in the back lower corner of the chaise section which was repaired. Some will want reupholstered, priced accordingly. Please see photos and zoom in for details. This is a fabulous Modern five-piece modular sectional sofa comprised of 3 armless seats, a corner piece, and a wonderful chaise lounge all with cylindrical wood legs bearing a walnut-toned finish. It has a tight back and tight foam seat cushions encased with a beautiful gray tweed-like fabric. Actually, if you look super close, the fabric has a tight weave with black and white thread which gives off an over-all gray hue… it’s gorgeous!! And we know a little something about the previous owners… and the past home of this beauty! We know that the previous owners purchased this fantastic sectional in 1995 from Halls Department Store which was located in Kansas City, Missouri and owned by J.C. Hall, the same owner & founder of the private, family-owned Hallmark Card Company. They carried high end, exclusive items, with a distinguished reputation. It was located in Halls Crown Center, still located in a lovely setting full of reputable shops, fountains, and scenery that could make you fall in love! Just ask my parents!!! (I would insert a heart here, but I don’t have emojis!) Forty-nine years in love and they’re still goin’ strong!! Anyway, if you’re ever in Kansas City, Missouri, you MUST check it out!! You never know… cupid may still be hanging around!! So, back to this fabulous sofa… there are many configurations possible with this sectional to create exactly the seating you need for your personal space. You could put the chaise on one side and the corner piece on the other with two sections in the middle and one beside the corner piece, or, if you want a “longer” look, you could use all 3 armless pieces between the chaise and corner piece OR remove the chaise and use it separately!
