Two-Piece Dunbar Sofa by Edward Wormley, Armless, Brass Legs, Models 4756 & 4828

About the Item

Two piece, armless, sectional sofa designed by Edward Wormley, made by Dunbar. A combination of models 4756 and 4828 in the Dunbar Catalog. The backless end on the angled piece (4756) curves towards the front at a 30 degree angle. The straight piece (4828) also has a backless armless end. The legs are conical shaped solid brass, not brass plate. This is one of Wormley's best and most desirable sofa designs. The quality of construction is second to none. The frame is made of solid wood and steel. Expertly restored and reupholstered in a light to medium gray / grey mohair fabric. Straight section dimensions: 30 in. H x 30 in. D x 75 in. W Curved section dimensions: 30 in. H x 42 in. D x 88 in. W Total width is 163 inches.
