On offer on this occasion is a rare, immaculately presented “Pianoalto 1272” three-seat sofa and ottoman, creating “configuration 5” when employed together (or can be positioned differently to create a left or right-hand L-shape, as outlined in the images provided) from the world renown Italian furniture house of Zanotta, dressed in a sublime woven wool and alpaca-mix fabric in light-brown. As you will no doubt be aware by your interest in this Ludovica and Palomba masterpiece, Zanotta pieces are the epitome of contemporary European furniture design, are of peerless quality and exhibit detailing and execution of an unrivalled standard. In a world of temporary pleasures, Zanotta create beautiful furniture that remains a joy forever, with this rare piece being the perfect illustration. Easily capable of being the last seat you need ever buy. This piece is in superb, beautifully-maintained condition, reflecting the exceptionally considerate employment it has seen in the past, and is entirely free from fault, flaw or damage. Its fine order reflects the TLC and remarkably light use afforded it in the past and, aside from one small snag to the fabric on the bottom-rear-corner of the sofa (acquired during a recent house-move, and only visible under the closest of inspections, or totally obscured if the sofa is employed with its back to a wall) is as perfect as you could possibly hope to find.
