About the Item
Wonderful 19th century French Louis XVI style settee.
Inspired by French forms of the baroque period, the settee has beautifully carved wood detail throughout. The carved leaf and floral detail on the back crest and sides is superb. Lovely design with flared, scalloped sides and elegant fluted legs.
Upholstered in a soft dusty pink velvet with channel tufting on sides and down cushion. A very smart French piece.
