19th Century Swedish Gustavian Barrel Back Sofa Settee

About

A 19th century Swedish barrel back sofa settee in the Gustavian style, newly upholstered in antique linen, circa 1850. Hand scraped to reveal the original paint. The frame features carved lion heads and bell flowers while the front legs are adorned with lotus flowers and rosettes. The seat depth is 25.5 inches.
