About the Item

This is an antique Arts & Leather settee from the early 1900s made by "SHOP of the CRAFTER " in Cincinnati, Ohio. The settee comes with a spring seat which make it more comfortable - The leather seat has been reupholstered with top quality hand-spun black leather extra soft. The piece is in very good condition NO REPAIRS or new parts. STURDY AND STRONG, the settee is ready for use in your home or office. If you like cushion to add to the settee, we can send out for you as special order and will charge minimal cost to you and sure to the size you want. SIZE H 40 IN W 60 IN D 24 IN WE WILL ADD THE CORECT SIZES TOMORROW on SUNDAY. No many offer the quality we sale and NOT like buying in live public auctions we GUARANTEE 100% all as describes, NO cracks or repairs. In public auction ALL SALL " AS IS " condition as they tell you UPFRONT. We have to artist worming for us, make sure the furniture we offer and has been re glued the correct way. First you need to clean COMPLETLY all the old glue and apply the correct fresh glue and pair of clamps. We traded yesterday few pcs of GUSTAV STICKLEY which ALL were sold in A WELL KNOWN AUCTION HOUSE IN MID WEST who sell many real Period Stickley furniture. Every pc came with VERY BAD REPAIRS, out guy will fix it and we will let a local auction house to sell for us, we do this because we do not offer junk furniture in our shop also the auction house does not know where came from.

This is an early SIGNED Charles Limbert Settee from the early 1900s. Marked with a partial Charles Limbert paper label. Very nice design with EXCELLENT original finish. This is one of the nicest designs Limbert made! This has been made in the early period of C LIMBERT with the original Limbert seat which is very important. This settee is with very long corbel on the front left and right sides. The leather upholstery made may be mad ten yrs ago and its in great shape. In the past we used to sell this LIMBERT model for much higher price. EXTRA OFF We see lots of incorrect information on line and in this site too.
