About the Item

This is an early SIGNED Charles Limbert Settee from the early 1900s. Marked with a partial Charles Limbert paper label. Very nice design with EXCELLENT original finish. This is one of the nicest designs Limbert made! This has been made in the early period of C LIMBERT with the original Limbert seat which is very important. This settee is with very long corbel on the front left and right sides. The leather upholstery made may be mad ten yrs ago and its in great shape. In the past we used to sell this LIMBERT model for much higher price. We see lots of incorrect information on line and in this site too. PLEASAE NOTE; We deal with ONLY good PERIOD arts and crafts furniture and items( cir 1900s), we do not offer new so called STICKLEY AUD. In the 1970s a man contacted LEO STICKLEY Widow and purchased the BRAND NAME L&jG Stickley from her and by low they can marked their furniture STICKLEY AU but these furniture made with NO THRU TENON CONSTRUCTION they just ad two pcs of wood on each side to fool the buyers., they made furniture IN GUSTAV STICKLEY DESIG. We had in our listing on 1sr Dibs and very special Gustav Stickley 8 legs sideboard with 8 STAR pulls, the pc sold for HALF Millions Dollars in Sotheby auction 30 yrs ago, we end up selling for high price but sure NOT for half millions. We selling items you do not much around. Shipping for this item will be $499.00 (a $300 discount over the shipping price quoted by 1st Dibs.) WE OFFERING VERY SPECIAL ITEMS YOU DO NOT SEE AROUND.
