Breathtaking George II Style Carved Wood Settee with Needlepoint Upholstery

About the Item

George II Revival triple back settee was created in the style of the beloved Thomas Chippendale. From the scaled and scalloped back and zoomorphic armrests to the hairy ball-and-claw feet, the quality of the carving is deep and richly detailed. Elaborate wood carving with three eagles knees and hairy paw feet on front cabriole legs the quality of the carving is deep and richly detailed. The seat is upholstered in a lovely floral tapestry, with nail head trim that remains in wonderful condition.
