Danish Easy Settee with Oak Armrests, 1940s attributed to Slagelse Mobelvaerk
About the Item
Elegant and charming easy style settee from the 1940s attributed to Slagelse Mobelvaerk. These type of 1940s pieces are increasingly coming into fashion, however. Made from oiled oak with nicely sculpted/carved armrests. Comfortable, solid and sturdy with coil springs in the seat and backrest. Some natural age wear to the armrests and minor scuffing to the legs. The original two-tone fabric s in still usable condition but we recommend to have it reupholstered with which we are happy to assist at a very competitive price. Great for the study or bedroom. Overall very good condition.
