About the Item

We are delighted to offer for sale this brand new, extra deep, George Smith Signature Scroll Arm large sofa with feather filled base cushions upholstered with the exceptionally luxury grey velvet Please note the delivery fee listed is just a guide, it covers within the M25 only for the UK and local Europe only for international, if you would like an accurate quote please send me your postcode and I’ll provide you with the exact price I have another of these which is exactly the same model but slightly shorter and not as deep listed under my other items, it has the exact same upholstery which is brand new Well, where to begin! This sofa is the absolutely finest quality available today, it has a beech and oak frame that has fibre padding to the back, these come in three depths and this is the largest, it is way deeper than normal, the seat cushions are huge, the are overstuffed with down feathers, the backs of the cushions insert under the backrest of the sofa meaning you are never sitting on the edge of the cushion, this stops it sagging and offers a more comfortable seat The upholstery is super luxurious Linwood velvet, the sofa needed 16 meters, the cushions are fully upholstered on both sides so should the worst happen and one side is marked, you can simply flip it over and you have a fresh side The sofa was bought from george smith in calico and then my upholsterer did the work as we needed it for a large project, the piece was never used as we ordered to many hence it is brand new, only I actually have four of these sofas, two are upholstered in Velvet Mulberry Flying ducks, and two in this grey velvet, the other sofa is slightly larger than this one Dimensions Height:- 81cm Width:- 214cm Depth:- 124.5cm Seat height:- 53cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask Any questions please feel free to ask before you bid Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
