French 18th Century Louis XV Period Walnut Child’s Settee
About the Item
A charming small scale French 18th century Louis XV period walnut child's settee. The settee is raised by eight cabriole legs with fine scrolled feet and attached by a most decorative stretcher. Each leg displays richly carved acanthus leaves and the scalloped shaped frieze has striking foliate carvings. The elegant scalloped shaped cushion back support displays beautiful scrolled cushioned arm supports at each side Wonderful original warm patina throughout.
