An Italian cane seated fruitwood quadruple lyre back settee and accompanying side chair. The lyre forms are actually pairs of swans' necks with a central inlaid column, simulating strings. Klismos legs with h-stretchers on both settee and chair. Outfitted with recent upholstered seat pads. Both the chair and settee are suitable for dining use at an appropriate long table. Settee measurements follow below. Chair measures 18 inches wide x 19 inches deep x 34 inch back height x 17.75 inch seat height.
