A simply stunning compatible pair being sold individually having been totally recovered and refinished by this award winning decorator. 19th Century Settee / Canape, Durand, Louis XV, Giltwood, New Handwoven Scalamandre Upholstery. A charming Louis the XV settee comprised of a stunningly carved 19th century giltwood settee from the French house of Gervais Durand, unsigned. The whole finely carved floral and wreath motifs with Greek key corners and elegant cabriole, turned up legs. Upholstery in need of repair. Priced accordingly.
