SUPERB ANTIQUE Charles Limbert Settle - Stickley Era - W7060

About the Item

This is a rare antique Model 569 settle by Charles Limbert in pristine condition. The piece has a great section of oak, with original spring seat, and the original brown leather. This seat was known to be the best made in the period, they are very comfortable. This piece is hard to find especially in this condition. It is marked with the maker’s mark, as pictured, and pinned all around. It was made with real through tenon construction all around. The piece is in excellent condition. We guarantee the product is as described. This settle is in “pristine” condition - not even a nick! Our items are packed with extreme care by on-site staff, using sturdy containers and excessive fill. We work hard to ensure that shipped items reach our customers without damage. Great real double thru tenon construction on front bottom and on top front as has been pictured and the settle has been mark with C Limbert brand. WE OFFER GOOD ITEMS WITH FAIRE PRICE, WE SEE LOTS OF FAKE ITEMS AROUND INCLUDES ON DIBS, WHEN I TELL THEY IS FAKE THEY DO NOT LIKE US, THIS IS NOT THE RIGHT WAY. PEOPLE BUT A FAKE ITEM WILL FIND SOON OR LATER THE PURCHASES A FAKE AND THEY WILL BUY ANYMORE FROM ANYONE. Please note: Most "Stickley" and “Charles Limbert” items and many Roycroft items online are reproductions, or outright fakes. For example, in 1974 a man named Alfred Audi, along with his wife Aminy, approached the widow of Leo Stickley before she passed. He purchased the L&JG Stickley company, along with the brand name "L&JG Stickley," and he manufactured furniture "In The Style" of the original Stickley work. Be careful of buyers who describe their items as being from a “Stickley School.” This is just a way to get you to believe the item is actually authentic, original Stickley. In most cases, it is not. We purchase most of our Stickley and Limbert furniture from well known collections in New York and in Philadelphia. We may pay a little more but we get the BEST. We have over 5,000 pieces of real Stickley, Roycroft, and Limbert furniture. We buy from collections in New York and Pennsylvania. We buy only the best. We pay a little more than other dealers, but we get only the very best. We don't deal with "problem" furniture. Watch 1stDebs for future listings of these piece
