Antique French Louis XVI Style Painted Accent Side Chair in Blue Floral
About the Item
An exquisite restored antique French accent side chair in the Marie Antoinette/Louis XVI style, sourced from Provence, France. The chair features a finely hand-carved shield-shaped backrest, finished in a creamy antique white paint with a naturally aged patina and charming distressed details. Structurally restored for lasting durability, the chair is solid, stable, and ready for everyday use. It has been newly upholstered in a beautiful blue floral cotton fabric on both the front and back of the backrest, complemented by a rich dark blue high-performance velvet on the seat. The upholstery is clean-finished with single piping trim around the back and a welt trim band on the seat using the same printed floral fabric. Gracefully tapered and fluted legs ending in classic toupie feet complete the elegant Louis XVI aesthetic.
