About the Item
A magnificent pair of antique side chairs made in the style of Louis XVI, sourced from Provence, France. Each chair showcases a hand-crafted frame, featuring a square-shaped back hand-painted with a creamy white finish showcasing a naturally aged patina. The chairs come with their original dark green leather. The leather has been clean-finished with nail-head trim. Supported by gracefully tapered, fluted legs culminating in toupie feet, characteristic of the Louis XVI style, the front legs captivate with beautifully carved rosettes on the corners. Solid and stable with excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a Traditional French Louis XVI Profile.
