About the Item

E G Punnet attributed. Probably made by William Birch and retailed by Goodyers of Regent Street. An Arts and Crafts oak wing back hall chair using flat sided construction. The head rest inlaid with sycamore tulips on ebonised stems ending with tiny hearts, retaining the original leather back rest and a mature possibly original drop in rush seat, with flowing arched aprons below the seat with pierced hearts to the arched back feet.
