A handsome Baltic pair of Biedermeier side chairs of Karelian birch wood and ebonized fruit wood. They feature fine figurative Boulle brass work circa 1850. Each of the scrolled backs include decoration featuring lions holding garlands, flanking an urn, surrounded by a laurel leaf garland.
