About the Item

A charming faux bamboo Georgian painted side chair with a rattan seat. The chair exhibits a double rail to the top with interesting demi lune spindles and two shaped supports beneath. Beneath the comfortable seat are double parallel stretchers to either side and presented in the original yellowish paint finish. Strong and sturdy and very comfortable. English, circa 1830.
