About the Item
ABOUT
The Spaghetti Armchair is a modern, iconic piece of furniture designed by Giandomenico Belotti for the brand Alias. Introduced in 1980, this chair is named for its distinctive use of thin, PVC strings that resemble strands of spaghetti. These flexible cords are tightly stretched across the frame to form the seat and backrest, providing a surprisingly comfortable and supportive sitting experience. The frame itself is typically made of steel, giving the chair a minimalist and industrial look. Its lightweight, stackable design makes it a functional choice for both indoor and outdoor use.
