in Paris from his father, to learn new techniques and broaden his horizons.
In 1886 he returned to Italy and moved to Milan where he worked for a short time
period with Carlo Bugatti, then opens his shop in via Donizetti 3.
His first works are strongly marked by the Moorish style of Bugatti,
but already on the occasion of the Turin exhibition of 1898, the first ones can be seen
signs of Art Nouveau and his personal style. Quarti has always been attentive
to the quality and originality of his creations, and very sensitive to all of them

and high quality inlays with noble materials such as silver, copper, bronze, pewter,
etc. cabinetmaker. "
In 1900 he took part in the Paris International Exposition, where he received the
"Grand Prix" by the jury. Subsequently he participates in numerous exhibitions such as
Turin in 1902 and Milan in 1906 where he received the "Royal Grand Prix" and the
"Gold medal". He was one of the great Italian cabinet makers of the twentieth century
century and some of his furniture are on display in various museums around the world such as
the Museum of Decorative Arts of Castello Sforzesco in Milan, the Musée d'Orsay
of Paris, the Wolfsonian museum of Miami, etc. On his death in 1929, the son
