Circa 1800s painted Gustavian side chair with decorative flower carving

About the Item

Delightful painted late c18th Swedish Gustavian chair. Retaining much of its original paint there is a decorative carved wood flower at the top of the back and its drop in seat has been covered in a light tea coloured vintage French linen. Likely from the Lindome region of Sweden and largely untouched these chairs are harder to find and would be perfect for a bedroom or small desk.
