About the Item
In this listing you will find a pair of small armchairs designed by Gastone Rinaldi for RIMA. Gastone Rinaldi designed this beautiful and iconic pair of rare armchairs in 1954. The shape of the armchairs is sculptural, unique, and extraordinary: the two soft armrests merge to form a backrest with filigree contours without restricting the seat's comfort. The legs of the chairs are very finely designed and create a wonderful symbiosis with the organically shaped seat. Gastone Rinaldi found contour-soft and ergonomic shapes and projected them onto his designs. The frame comes with steel legs. The chairs were produced between 1955-1960 and are in good vintage condition.
In addition to two chairs, there is also a 2-seater sofa available for sale, as seen in the second picture, which you could find in a separate listing.
Chairs have been recently refurbished and reupholstered in abstract geometric pattern.
