Peak of a Century Chair by German Artist Markus Friedrich Staab

About

Traditional Austrian Brettlstuhl contemporized. Cut and brought out of shape, painted in strong blue, leather stripes added, lacquered in glossy lacquer. This rustic piece of sculptural design shows the spectrum of Staab work. The original farm house chair has been transformed into an object of now and has the feeling of a combination between tradition and out of the box thinking. Like works from Helmut Palla, Franz West, Günter Ferdinand Ris, max lamb and others this stands for functional art und sculptural design.
