A set of four Austrian Biedermeier period side chairs from the first half of the 19th century with red upholstery. Each of this set of Biedermeier chairs features an exquisite bookmarked veneered body with a delicately out-scrolled back, adorned with pierced ebonized wood motifs. Each red upholstered seat rests on a simple apron and four saber legs, typical of the Biedermeier period. With their clean silhouettes, combined to an unpretentious yet elegant décor, this set of four Austrian side chairs, circa 1840, will bring a stylish touch to any dining room or kitchen.
