About the Item

Vernacular ladder back fireside chair in birch with later rush seat. Unusual decorative turned finial ears atop the back's stiles. Wonderfully slightly misshapened wooden back cross rails. Seat has good age but probably is not original. Chair was shortened at some point in its part. Now makes the perfect fireside chair or a decorative accent piece.
