About the Item
Romanza is a sofa that redefines affection design, and combines the stylistic features of modern and contemporary design with the memory of ancient Moroccan seating.
Romanza's frame is the exaltation of the finest Italian cabinetry: made with the inlay technique in solid ash and Canaletto walnut, and the armrests are made of solid ash thermoformed and shaped completely by hand.
The upholstered items are made of non-deformable polyurethane foam in different densities available for both indoor and outdoor environments.
Fabric covers can be chosen from Zimmer + Rhode, Pierre Frey, Elitis and Acro free life collections. In the photo, Elitis FARNIENTE ISEO outdoor fabric was used. In case of customization, the fabric needed is 2.5mt.
When ordering, specify whether the product is for Indoor or Outdoor.

An eclectic design studio founded by a creative couple specialized in projects ranging from design to furnishing accessories and interior decoration, new concepts for the retail and hotel business, environmental and experiential design.Environmental & Experiential Design. Their work involves a constant research for new materials to combine with forms, patterns and designs to create a mélange of styles. Their vision of lifestyle derives from fashion, as both Lorena and Andrea are constantly on the lookout for new color combinations and inspirations for possible future trends. They are attracted by everything that is rare and unique, and frequently work in collaboration with the finest Italian artisans. Lorena and Andrea have specialized over the years in the creation of home collections for important fashion names ranging from textiles to furniture and decoration. Within the interior they have developed different projects, including in China - in the center of Shanghai - Villa Oro with the aim of recovering the architecture of the existing building in eclectic style - dating back to the ‘30s -, creating environments full of charm in which elements and details of the tradition have been enhanced by the inserted design pieces. Inside the villa there are a restaurant, bars, showrooms and multi-purpose spaces.
Currently the studio designs collections of furniture, accessories and objects, including a line of limited edition pieces of the highest craftsmanship with excellent partners.

42 are the wooden species kept in our vault of centuries-old veneers, 5 of which are endangered; 2 are the result of anomalies: woods tell as much about humanity as people do.
In Hebanon Fratelli Basile 1830 we operate with respect for man and the environment,
using only non-toxic products for human health, formaldehyde free, wood with forest certifications and recovering processing waste as a source of complementary energy.
All products are 100% certified Designed and manufactured in Italy, branded and identified by an identification number and holographic mark that guarantee their uniqueness and originality in the world.
Language
Our language stems from our cultural heritage coming from the Kingdom of the two Sicilies and from cabinetmaking of which we have internalized the discipline, technique and vision.
- The carvings: they become elements that sculpt the air and dictate the rhythm of space; a game of seduction between opposites: hot and cold, masculine and feminine, natural and precious materials, pure and primary shapes alternating with organic forms of nature.
- The inlays: they lose the only decorative value, acquiring in themselves the narrative value of the object; perspectives, optical illusions, sometimes provocative, sometimes sensual, sometimes ethereal and elusive, natural materials and textures that anthropomorphize nature.

Romanza is a sofa that redefines affection design, and combines modern and contemporary design styles with the memory of ancient Moroccan seating.
Romanza's frame is the epitome of the finest Italian cabinetry: made with the technique of inlaid solid ash and Canaletto walnut wood, and the arms are made of thermoformed solid ash and shaped completely by hand. Buttons are made of inlaid wood ash and canaletto walnut.
Upholstered items are made of non-deformable polyurethane foam in different densities available for both indoor and outdoor environments.
Fabric covers can be chosen from Zimmer + Rhode, Pierre Frey, Elitis and Acro "free life" collections. Elitis FARNIENTE ISEO outdoor fabric was used in the photo.
When ordering, specify whether the product is for Indoor or Outdoor.
