The Amhurst is House of Hackneys take on the Knole sofa – a distinctive design dating back to 17th century England, when it began life as a double throne upon which the monarchy would have sat to receive guests. Complete with the Knole's famous hinged sides (tied to finials using fabric cords), this piece is cloaked in luxurious BAMBUSA print velvet and hand-built in England by the country's finest furniture makers – making it just as fit for a queen today.
