On offer on this occasion is a rare, superb “George” 6-Seat, L-Shape, 2-Piece Sectional-Sofa (consisting of a 4-Seat Sofa section, and a 2.5-seat Chaise section) from the world renown Italian furniture house, B&B Italia.
Endlessly flexible, as these 2 sections can either be employed as a compact L-shape, a larger slightly-separated L-shape, or as 2 entirely-independent sofa-units, so are as practical as they are beautiful.
As you will no doubt be aware by your interest in this Antonio Citterio masterpiece, B&B Italia pieces are the epitome of contemporary European furniture design, are of peerless quality, and exhibit detailing and execution of an unrivalled standard.

Dressed in the most elegant and relaxed linen-mix fabric in pale-grey. This cloth is easily recognised as being of peerless quality with it being as robust and hard-wearing as rhino skin, whilst its softness and texture is simply divine to the touch.
This piece is in superb, immaculately-maintained condition, having seen light, irregular use in its previous home and is entirely free from fault, flaw or damage. Its handsome order reflects the TLC and considerate use afforded it in the past and, aside from the odd, superficial mark to the fabric (as you might expect, and as i would imagine is impossible to avoid) and some surface-marking to the metal framework, is as well-presented and satisfying as is possible to imagine.

In its current state, this piece would meet the requirements of all but the most-particular of buyers and, for someone looking for a piece of high-design to position at the heart of their room, it is truly heaven sent! Dimensions-wise, this sofa’s measurements are H-60cm, W-264cm and D-294cm when both sections are configured together (which does create a backrest with a slightly different profile along the longer-run, where the square-armrest of the sofa joins with the tapered-backrest of the chaise, as illustrated in the penultimate image provided) or they occupy a footprint of H-60cm, W-372cm and D-294cm when employed separately as in the latter images provided (allowing for the employment of a corner table or similar, as many would prefer) and the breathtaking seating position this iconic modern-design creates is enhanced by the use of sumptuously comfortable, generously-upholstered feather-back and composite fixed-seat cushioning, which leaves you powerless to resist its charms. Not only does it possess an aesthetic to die for, but it is so comfortable too!
