About the Item

An elegant mahogany sofa crafted by Danish designer Carl Andreassen, who worked under the renowned architect Martin Nyrop. The sofa is decorated with delicate inlays and retains a later striped upholstery fabric, combining historic craftsmanship with functional comfort. This sofa comes with provenance directly from Andreassen’s family, originally from his own home and acquired by his granddaughter, making it a rare and personal example of his work. Later upholstery in striped fabric complements the original mahogany frame.
