On offer on this occasion is a superb, beautifully-presented 2 Sofa and Ottoman Suite of iconic "253 Nest" seating (consisting of an identical pair of 2-seat sofas, and an Ottoman) in a sublime Cashmere/Wool Mix fabric in Dark Navy Blue with polished-chrome Framework, manufactured by the leading Italian Furniture House, Cassina. As you will no doubt be aware by your interest in these pre-eminent Piero Lissoni creations, "253 Nest" seating is the epitome of contemporary European furniture design, is of peerless quality, and exhibits detailing and execution of the highest standard. In a world of temporary pleasures, Cassina creates beautiful furniture that remains a joy forever. Less-elegantly-clad examples of this legendary suite are difficult enough to source, but a beautifully-presented suite such as this, particularly dressed in this most stunning and tactile high-grade fabric option in a demure, versatile Dark-Blue hue, is as rare as Hen's teeth! Spectacularly sought-after as, whilst being as robust and hard-wearing as rhino skin, its softness and texture is simply divine to the touch. The perfect blend of luxury and practicality. This suite is in superb, beautifully-maintained condition, having seen light, regular use in its previous home, and are almost entirely free from fault, flaw or damage. Their hugely handsome order reflects the TLC and considerate use afforded them in the past but, as you would think normal when considering the nature and colour of this particular fabric covering, they do possess a number of small, visible marks as you would expect, and there is a small professional repair to a puncture to the fabric on one of the seat cushions. The breathtaking seating position this iconic modern-design creates is enhanced by the use of sumptuously comfortable, generously upholstered back and seat cushioning, which leaves you powerless to resist its charms.
