About the Item

Mid 20th Century Norwegian Ekornes Prototype Three Piece Suite. Comprising Of A Three Seater Sofa & Two Armchairs The previous owners of the Ekornes suite ran a furniture shop in London in the 1970's & this was a prototype suite (so quite rare) that they then decided to keep and take with them to their coastal house, upholstery was replaced in the previous owners tenure to white fabric to suit it's new coastal home. Innovation, quality and the ability to adapt have been the characteristics on which Ekornes has built its business since it was founded in 1934. As early as 1946, the company started automating its manufacturing processes with the help of machines brought over from the USA. Wear consistent with age and use. Structurally sound condition, with light surface wear, mainly to the upholstery maybe require a light steam. Extremely comfortable & well made suite. Seat with headrest, headrest is cream.
