About the Item
This is a very elegant Georgian period campaign sofa. It is a very neatly sized example and stands on tall mahogany tapered legs complete with stretchers and their original brass casters. The overall condition is very good. The lower frame is repaired but the rest remains original. Gorgeous design and if you wanted to the whole sofa could come apart as its original design was to be on a campaign and dignitaries would have this carried around for them and re set up where they camped or stationed themselves.
