Isamu Noguchi Freeform Sofa & Ottoman

About the Item
Noguchi emphasized this effect with thin, but extremely comfortable upholstery padding and a choice of cover fabrics in natural colours. The Freeform Sofa and companion Ottoman are in excellent condition upholstered in a off white microfiber and in very good condition, they both are very comfortable and ready to be displayed.
Two examples of Noguchi's predilection for sculptural lines are his Freeform Sofa and Ottoman, the shapes of which are reminiscent of river pebbles. Noguchi himself described his design as "soft rock". Thanks to its organic shape and the natural tones of its upholstery fabric the sofa has a light, elegant feel, despite its voluminous form.
