About the Item
Sofa, fabric and wood, Italy, 1950s.
Simplistic Italian sofa with clean lines and a high back. The sofa features small tapered wooden legs. The high back embraces the sitter in comforting manner. The armrests are slightly raised upwards towards the end and add to the character of the sofa. The combination of the green upholstery and the light, delicate wooden feet create an overall elegant design.
Please note that we advise reupholstery before use, at this moment there are no seating cushions and the current fabric shows signs of wear and use. Reupholstery can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsmen and -women in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece contains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
