A rare opportunity to acquire what is, unequivocally, the most spectacular, immaculate, beautifully-presented Fixed-Seat 3-Seat “Jules” sofa. Recently recovered by a private client in an impossibly-soft and tactile, woven Romo “Zinc” fabric (the lighter component colour of this beguiling woven cloth is identical to Farrow and Ball’s “Lamp Room Gray 88”, with the darker colour being identical to F&B’s “Down Pipe 26”,which balances out to give out a metallic silver appearance) and faux-leather arms and outsides and, as per the images, with dark hardwood legs and polished-chrome stud detailing. As you will no doubt be aware by your interest in this listing, pieces of this nature offered for sale by Lord Browns are the epitome of classic English furniture design, are of peerless quality, and exhibit detailing and execution of an unrivalled standard. In particular, this bespoke commission was created by a highly-respected (but trade-only) furniture-manufacturer from the North-East of England, where every craftsman employed has previously been retained in senior-positions at the world-renown George Smith Furniture Factory in Northumberland. As such, its appearance, finish and components are consistent with the very best furniture money can buy, and is comfortably of equivalent quality to any George Smith/Kingcome/Ralph Lauren piece. In a world of temporary pleasures, these industry-leading, ex-George Smith craftsmen create beautiful furniture built to last a lifetime, with there being no finer, or more beautifully appointed, example of their work than this. This piece is in mint, impeccably-maintained condition, having never been employed since its recent manufacture, and is entirely free from fault, flaw or damage. Nothing short of pristine, perfect and divine. Please view the images provided closely to confirm its exceptional condition and appearance. Its dimensions are H-80cm (although the seat height is lower than that of a more traditional example), W-190cm and an exceptionally-generous D-112cm, and the breathtaking seating position this modern-interpretation of the iconic Standard-Arm-design creates is enhanced by the use of sumptuously comfortable, generously-sprung back and seat cushioning, which leaves you powerless to resist its charms. Costing over £5000 when commissioned recently (only to find itself surplus to requirement at the end of a renovation project), it represents spectacular value for money, and we have no doubt it will serve and delight its new owner for many years to come.
