About the Item

Late 20th c., USA, a pair of custom sumptuous three-seat sofas of squared form with slightly flared arms and tight back. They are upholstered in a cream and champagne silk and cotton damask with a pleated skirt over simple wood legs, unmarked. The seat cushions are trimmed in a cream corded braid and both the seat cushions and the seat back are button tufted. The damask fabric is of superior quality and is subtle in both design and texture. Each sofa comes with three 24" x 24" lumbar cushions in the same fabric with a luxe gold tone brushed fringe trim and two 20" x 20" accent pillows. The seat, lumbar and accent cushions are down filled. These are very comfortable sofas that you can sink into, relax with a good book or take a cosy nap if so inclined. Dimensions: 29"h x 84"w x 37"d, 18"h (to seat) Condition: Good, very clean upholstery showing minimal wear. One sofa with two small stains to underside of one seat cushion and a few loose threads.
