About the Item

Mid-Century Danish 3-seater Sofa ML-140 by Illum Wikkelsø, 1960s. Beautiful and elegant three seater sofa designed by renowned Danish architect Illum Wikkelsø and manufactured by Danish master carpenter A. Mikael Laursen in Aarhus, Denmark. Slightly curved armrests with scissor legs in solid oak. Very comfortable. Turnable spring cushions upholstered in light wool fabric. The color is light beige with a very subtle rose undertones. Scandinavian modernism at its best. Organic design and excellent build quality. Very good vintage condition with only light patina consistent with age and use. Re-upholstered in recent years. Minor tear in fabric underneath the sofa. Ready for use.
