This striking modular sofa, attributed to Italian designer Adriano Piazzesi is a true statement piece from the 1970s. Upholstered in its original brown velvet fabric it showcases a distinctive retro character with sleek steel detailing on the sides.
Highly versatile in design since the sofa can be assembled in multiple configurations to suit your space and style. Create a dramatic curve or a dynamic Vshape or why not a classic straight layout. or separate the curved module as a standalone piece. In total its 5 pieces that can be arranged in different ways.
The sofa is in overall good vintage condition. As the velvet fabric is original it does show some age related wear. Notably the corner cushion has two sunbleached spots and one module has a blue stain on the back please see photos for reference. These signs of use do not detract from its comfort or charm.
Comfortable funky and fun this sofa is a perfect addition for lovers of bold authentic vintage design.
