On offer on this occasion is a peerless, rare, pristine "Still SDC250" Large 3-Seat Sofa, from the world renown Italian furniture house of Molteni & C, dressed in a sublime pebble-grain matt Ivory leather, and with polished chrome framework. As you will no doubt be aware by your interest in this Foster & Partners-designed masterpiece, Molteni & C pieces are the epitome of contemporary European furniture design, are of peerless quality, and exhibit detailing and execution of an unrivalled standard. In a world of temporary pleasures, Molteni & C create beautiful furniture that remains a joy forever. This piece is in superb, immaculately-maintained condition, reflecting the exceptionally infrequent employment it has seen in the past, and is almost entirely free from fault, flaw or damage. Its fine order reflects the TLC and remarkably light use afforded it in the past but, as you should realistically expect from pieces of this nature and colour, there is the odd, minor (and i mean minor!) superficial blemish to be found, and a small, light, circular compression mark to the top of the left (as you look at it) armrest acquired during being stored prior to our acquiring it (please see the final image provided for illustration) but certainly nothing that catches the eye overly, or compromises the undeniable beauty of this stunning example one jot. Please view the images provided closely to confirm its incredible condition and appearance. Aside from the modest issues mentioned above, a better-presented example of these icon is difficult to imagine, and it would comfortably reach the standards insisted-upon by the vast majority of discerning buyers. The dimensions of this sofa are H-86cm, W-250cm and D-105cm, and the breathtaking seating position this iconic modern-design creates is enhanced by the use of sumptuously comfortable, generously upholstered composite-filled back and seat cushioning, which leaves you powerless to resist its charms. Costing in excess of £11,000 when new, it represents spectacular value for money, and we have no doubt it will serve and delight its new owner for many years to come.
