About the Item
Sublime bespoke cabriole sofa, settee, or canapé made in the neoclassical Swedish Gustavian style. The sofa feature a gracefully curved cabriole style hardwood frame with an intentionally aged, distressed lacquer painted finish. Upholstered with a linen fabric in a light beige oatmeal color fitted like a fine Italian suite. Decorated with petite patinated brass tack nail heads around the apron. The frame has neoclassical French carved rosettes supported by square tapered and fluted legs. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a lovely aged patina on the frame. Custom ordered for an estate in Beverly Hills, CA. Absolutely stunning and in very good condition. The padded arms measure 25 inches high.
