On offer on this occasion is a rare, original pair of “Eileen Gray Lota” Sofas, from the world renown furniture house of Aram, dressed in a sublime, tactile Cream Leather, and with Black Lacquered Boxes. As you will no doubt be aware by your interest in this 1924-designed masterpiece, Aram pieces are the epitome of contemporary furniture design, are of Peerless quality, and exhibit detailing and execution of an unrivalled standard. In a world of temporary pleasures, Aram create beautiful furniture that remains a joy forever, and there can be few more-beautiful examples of this timeless icon of design than this. This suite is in superb, immaculately-maintained condition, reflecting the infrequent employment it has seen in the past and, aside from some light, but noticeable marks and scratches to the lacquered-boxes (particularly the lower-fronts), is entirely free from fault, flaw or damage. Its fine order reflects the TLC and remarkably considerate-use afforded it in the past, with the leather-covering as pristine as is possible to imagine. Handsome in the extreme, and benefitting from an effortlessly-elegant and luxurious choice of clothes, which only serves to increase its warmth, personality and practicality. Should perfection be preferred, we could organise for the issues regarding the lacquered boxes to be professionally-addressed prior to shipping upon the request of the buyer, with the (modest, i expect) costs of doing so being in addition to the purchase price. The Dimension of each sofa is H-85cm, W-242cm and D-95cm, and the breathtaking seating position this iconic modern-design creates is enhanced by the use of sumptuously comfortable, generously upholstered down-filled back and seat cushioning, which leaves you powerless to resist its charms.
