About the Item
From the 1964 Atlas Collection by Robert Haussman for Stendig, Switzerland. These matching sofas are glorious reminders of a bygone era when understated elegance and heirloom quality construction were not so elusive as they are today. Their pedigree can be seen in how gracefully they've matured over the last 40 years. They were recovered two years ago in black Edelman leather and have just returned from being professionally cleaned, all cushions reconditioned, chrome polished and new Pirelli straps applied. Each sofa has eight removable cushions.
A pair of matching two-seater settees are also available (see separate BG listing).
