The system promotes compositional freedom in combining three bases of different sizes to create versatile arrangements. A solid Iroko wood top can be placed on the structure of the bases to form an integrated low table, producing a harmonious succession of textures. The comfortable Mex-Hi Outdoor seat padding, made of recycled PET fibre wadding and polyurethane with a percentage of polyols derived from materials of biological origin, is laminated to a protective water-repellent fabric BASE Tubular AISI 304 stainless steel, with outdoor powder-coat finish. PADDING Polyurethane foam-fill with variable density polyurethane inserts made with a percentage of polyols derived from materials of biological origin, wrapped in recycled PET fibre wadding. UPHOLSTERY Removable, available in fabric. Designed by Piero Lissoni, Mex-Hi is a modular sofa that encourages compositional freedom, thanks to the variety of available pieces and possible configurations. Like a painting to be composed as needs arise, the system promotes compositional freedom in combining three bases of different sizes to create versatile and dynamic arrangements. A solid Iroko wood top can be placed on the structure of the bases to form an integrated low table, producing a harmonious succession of textures. The line is complemented by a larger three-seater sofa to be used as an independent piece, along with an inviting daybed. The comfortable Mex-Hi Outdoor seat padding, made of recycled PET fibre wadding and polyurethane with a percentage of polyols derived from materials of biological origin, is laminated to a protective water-repellent fabric. The textured patterns of the upholstery are outlined with piping; a selection of colours calls to mind Mediterranean landscapes. To ensure maximum functionality, the cushions were designed to be easily removed from the structure for care and laundering.
